National Childrens Dental Health Month
National Children's Dental Health Month has been observed each February for more than 55 years. "The focus is on providing oral health awareness to children and their parents and caregivers." Give Kids A Smile Day (February 2) is the centerpiece to National Children's Dental Health Month. Give Kids A Smile was designed to provide oral examinations, preventive and restorative care and oral health education to tens of thousands of low-income children without access to care. Now in its fifth year, Give Kids A Smile Day is observed annually on the first Friday in February.
